In 1980, the paternal grandfather of Mr. Houssam Aldeen Najjar started trading pearls and jewels, supplying local savers with gold and silver on a modest scale. This inspired the establishment of Najjar Jewellery, a branch where clients could buy and sell precious metals and other valuables.
Over the years, the company amassed an impressive wealth of knowledge and experience. These valuable insights were carefully passed on to the next generation, with his sons joining the company one by one.
When Houssam was four years old, his father, Mr. Hasan Najjar, died in a tragic accident. They shared an emotional and deep paternal bond.
As Houssam grew up, that goal grew alongside him: to continue his father's and family's profession, while adding science and knowledge to reach the highest levels of professional business. Their values of integrity, commitment, hard work, and grace are at the heart of everything we do.
Every stone is examined by hand against the 4Cs: carat, colour, clarity and cut. The loupe, the grading report and the trained eye behind them are what turn a rough assessment into a certified one.
Houssam is an HRD Antwerp Certified Diamond Grader, working to the standards of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre.
